Kp govt plans to launch longest, highest cable car project in Upper Dir

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa plans to construct the highest and largest cable car in the world in the Kumrat valley of the Upper Dir district. The decision was taken in a meeting of the Tourism Department presided over by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan. The meeting approved a feasibility assessment and engineering design in its entirety. A 14-kilometer project will link the Kumrat and Madaklasht valleys of Lower Chitral.

Govt approves special commemorative coin for NED university’s 100th anniversary

The government approved the issuance of a commemorative coin for NED university’s 100th anniversary. The State Bank of Pakistan issued 50,000 commemorative “Rs.100” coins to mark the university’s 100th anniversary. In a congratulatory speech, Fawad Chaudhry, Minister for Information and Broadcasting, commended the university’s faculty, Vice-Chancellor, and current and previous students for their outstanding achievements.

Pak Suzuki to Finally Say Goodbye to Bolan & Ravi after 40 years

Pak Suzuki may discontinue the MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) 800cc Bolan & Ravi next year. In a recent order, the Lahore High Court directed the Engineering Development Board (EDB), which regulates the auto industry, to make airbags a mandatory safety feature. It is technically impossible to install airbags in Bolan & Ravi. Therefore, the company will replace it with the Suzuki Every model.

Pakistan successfully tests surface-to-surface ballistic missile Ghaznavi

Pakistan successfully conducted a team launch of a surface-to-surface ballistic missile Ghaznavi. The ISPR revealed in a statement that the training was launched to ensure the operational readiness of Army Strategic Forces Command. He also added that it is also aimed at re-validating the technical parameters of the weapon system. Additionally, the armed forces successfully launched the medium-range ballistic missile Shaheen 1-A on March 26.
