Helena Saeed first Pakistani woman to serve as UN Police Commissioner in Sudan

Helena Saeed of Pakistan is the first Pakistani woman to hold the UN Police Commissioner’s post in Khartoum, Sudan. She is the Additional Inspector General (AIG) for Police in Pakistan. She is the first woman to achieve flag rank in Pakistan’s police service history, and the first AIG to come from Balochistan.

Helena Saeed is also the highest-rank female officer of the Police Service of Pakistan. Following Helena’s appointment as top cop in Khartoum, Pakistanis celebrated the occasion and poured their congratulations on her.
