Kp govt plans to launch longest, highest cable car project in Upper Dir

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa plans to construct the highest and largest cable car in the world in the Kumrat valley of the Upper Dir district. The decision was taken in a meeting of the Tourism Department presided over by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan. The meeting approved a feasibility assessment and engineering design in its entirety. A 14-kilometer project will link the Kumrat and Madaklasht valleys of Lower Chitral.

The project would eventually create the world’s longest and highest cable car, attracting tourists and locals alike to the province. Furthermore, a parking lot, restaurant, and other ancillary services will be offered along with the cable car. They stated at the conference that the project would provide employment chances for residents and stimulate economic activity in the province.
