The Taliban on Tuesday denied allegations that Pakistan intervened in Afghanistan’s internal affairs, saying the group “acted with complete freedom”. A Taliban spokesperson said that the interference of Pakistan is a rumour that has been spread for 20 years. He added that we don’t allow any kind of interference in our country.

Pakistan, China jointly developed high production hybrid rice varieties using artificial intelligence, big data, 5G and remote sensing to boost Pakistani rice exports. The rice varieties were developed in Hubei Province at the joint Wuhan-Punjab University research center. Honglian rice is one of three main types of cytoplasmic male sterility in rice commercially used to produce hybrid seeds.

El Salvador becomes first country in world to adopt bitcoin as legal tender

El Salvador became the world’s first country to accept bitcoin as legal tender. President Nayib Bukele’s government says the move will allow many Salvadorans to access bank services for the first time. The process eliminates remittance fees by some $400 million each year. El Salvador had bought its first 400 bitcoins, in two tranches of 200 each, and promised more would follow.

Israel once again launches airstrike on Gaza strip

Israel on Monday night targeted Gaza with airstrikes, claiming that the Hamas launched incendiary balloons from the Palestinian enclave. Israeli army said it had targeted locations belonging to the group that controls the Gaza Strip. However, the witnesses said that the army had also fired artillery at the north of Gaza. The reports said that no one was killed in the Palestinian enclave.

Pakistani man receives AED50,000 for saving a pregnant cat in Dubai

Atif Mehmood, a Pakistani salesman based in Dubai, saved a pregnant cat stuck on the second-floor balcony of a residential building in Dubai. Pakistani, 24, from Lakki Marwat, along with a Moroccan and an Indian man, spread a bed sheet and caught the cat after it jumped from the second floor. They received Dh50,000 each for their quick thinking that saved the life of the cat.
