‘Safe sex’: First film on taboo topic premiers in Pakistan

First of its kind short Film ‘Khushkhabri Kay Baad’ through its entertaining satire is addressing the importance of safe sex in Pakistan. The short film is based on marriage taboos related to contraceptives, reproduction, specifically the use of contraceptives, which is not welcomed at all. The Tinder Swindler is now being sued by the real Israeli tycoon Lev Leviev 

The Tinder Swindler, Simon Leviev (birth name Shimon Hayut) is now being sued by the family of billionaire and Israeli tycoon Lev Leviev who is known as the King of Diamonds. The Netflix documentary The Tinder Swindler showed how Simon identified himself as the only son of the diamond businessman and used family photos and their luxury living to lure women into giving him money.

Visually impaired, Tanveer Ahmed wins first-ever silver medal in World Championships for Pakistan

Pakistan’s Tanveer Ahmed, a visually impaired archer has made history this week by winning the first-ever silver medal in the World Archery Para Championships.  This is the first time two visually impaired Pakistani archers have participated in the world championship. Previously, Ahmed and his teammate Waleed Aziz had not contested a single tournament outside their country.

Pakistan Army promotes first Hindu officer to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel

In a first, Pakistan Army has promoted a Hindu officer Kelash Kumar to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He is the first Hindu to attain this position in the Pakistan Army. Kumar’s rank was upgraded from major to lieutenant colonel during the promotion boards. He passed out from the Pakistan Military Academy and was serving in the army’s medical corps.
