Oscar winning actor Lupita Nyong’o of Black Panther recently took Pakistani Twitter by storm after photographs of her discovering Karachi surfaced online. The actor, who is in the country to attend the wedding of artist Misha Japanwala, has been committed to sharing her experience with her followers, posting sneak peeks from the wedding, as well as pictures and videos of her touring the city.

In one photograph, Lupita posed with her arms folded in front of a typical decked out Pakistani bus, with the actor deeming Pakistan an “aesthetic force”. In another video, she shared that she is “loving the desi groove” while jamming to music.
Not only did Lupita pose in front of the bedazzled bus, she also shared videos sitting on the roof of one while touring the old parts of the city. Sharing pictures from Empress Market and having chai at a dhaba in the area, the actor was committed to getting the full Karachi experience.
