Two pet dogs get death sentence for handler’s negligence in DHA Karachi

Two German shepherds in Karachi’s DHA were sentenced to death for brutally attacking a resident. Mirza Akhtar Ali was attacked by dogs owned by Humayun Khan because their handlers could not control them during a morning walk. On July 6, the two parties reached an agreement. Humayun and his family also agreed not to keep any dangerous or ferocious dogs as pets.

National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) researchers will assist the pharmaceutical industry in producing the first-ever healing bandage in Pakistan. Dr. Hussain Wahedi, a young scientist at the university, said the procedure will speed up the recovery of different kinds of wounds of injured people in the country. Moreover, to accelerate the wound-healing process, healing bandages can be used for five to twelve hours.

FIA arrests two NADRA officials for issuing CNIC cards to militants

FIA officers arrested two Assistant Directors of NADRA Sindh and an agent for allegedly making ID cards for militants.
