President of Pakistan Arif Alvi Joins TikTok to spread positivity

In a post on his official Instagram account, Pakistani President Arif Alvi confirmed he has joined the popular video-sharing platform TikTok. Pakistan’s President announced that he joined the app with the aim of spreading positivity amongst the youth of Pakistan. The app was suspended by the Sindh High Court earlier this month. Consequently, the decision was later reversed.

Lucky motors to make Samsung mobile phone assembly plant in Pakistan

Samsung Gulf Electronics and Lucky Motors Corporation (LMC) have formed an agreement for the production of Samsung devices in Pakistan. As of now, it has been confirmed by the company through its notice to the exchange. The company has seen extreme success with its recent initiatives, such as bringing KIA, a South Korea-based company, to Pakistan to assemble cars. In addition, LUCK also acquired ICI Pakistan (ICI), as well as other investments.

Civil Aviation plans to launch helicopter service for tourists

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will begin providing helicopter services for tourists in the near future. The CAA director-general notified the Senate Aviation Committee that helicopter service is under progress. He assured the committee members that a plan would be implemented soon. He said the flight to Saidu Sharif Airport in Swat had also been suspended because only six people boarded the flight.

Govt to launch poverty-alleviation program ‘Kamyab Pakistan’ in July

The government will launch the country’s largest welfare program, “Kamyab Pakistan,” on July 29. Shaukat Tarin, Minister for Finance, said Wednesday the plan was meant to lift around four million families out of poverty. The Prime Minister will launch the program during a function scheduled for the Convention Center. Moreover, Usman Dar is being assigned responsibility for organizing the event.
