Punjabi movie stars from Chal Mera Putt 2 visit Kartarpur

A delegation of Punjabi movie stars visited the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib on Monday. The delegation, which included Harby Sangha, Anita Devgan, and Hardeep Gill, reached the gurdwara through the Kartarpur Corridor. The Pakistani film and stage actors Iftikhar Thakur and Qaiser Pia welcomed the film stars at the Gurdwara via the Kartarpur Corridor.

Govt shuts down three Murree hotels for overcharging

The Punjab government has taken action against hoteliers in Murree for hiking up rents and food prices. This kept many tourists in their cars during the snowstorm. At least 23 people were killed as a result of cold and asphyxiation in the most popular destination in the country. Three Murree hotels were sealed after angry citizens vented their frustrations on social media.

Pakistan railways successfully launch country’s first-ever reefer freight train

Pakistan Railways has launched Pakistan’s first reefer freight train to provide economical and environmentally friendly solutions for freight. There are 24 containerized refrigerated reefers on this train. The vessel left the Prem Nagar dry port (Lahore) on December 2021 and arrived at Wazir Mansion (Karachi) on the following day. The Marine Group of Companies, in collaboration with PR, achieved this milestone.

IHC orders capital authority to seal Monal Restaurant today

Islamabad High Court (IHC) ordered authorities on Tuesday to seal off Monal Restaurant and evict Margalla Greens Golf Club built on encroached land. Additionally, the military’s claim to 8,000 acres of Margalla Hills National Park was declared illegal. IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah issued the order to Islamabad Capital Territory Chief Commissioner Amer Ali Ahmed. The case concerned encroachments in a national park.

Women’s camel beauty contest makes debut in Saudi Arabia

Saudi women paraded their camels at a beauty pageant-themed “ships of the desert,” marking the first Women’s camel beauty contest. Previously, the event was exclusive to men and was part of the prestigious King Abdelaziz Festival. Rashidi, whose family owns 40 camels, has always been fascinated with camels since she was a child.
