Rizwan surpasses Chris Gayle’s 6-year-old record for most T20 runs in a year

Pakistani batter Mohammad Rizwan beat West Indies legend Chris Gayle’s six-year-old record as the team faced Scotland in the T20 World Cup. A wicketkeeper has now achieved the record for the most runs in a single calendar year in T20 cricket. He surpassed Gayle’s previous score of 1665, achieved earlier in 2015. Currently, the new record of 1676 is held by the heroic opener.

West Indies to tour Pakistan for three T20Is, ODIs in December

Pakistan and the West Indies will play a limited-overs series in Karachi next month. There will be three Twenty20 matches scheduled on December 13, 14, and 16. The two cricket boards have also announced three one-day internationals for December 18, 20, and 22. It is the first time the West Indies have toured Pakistan since it played three T20 matches there in April 2018. 

Babar Azam’s Father Offers Babar’s India Match Fee for Treatment of Injured Woman Cricketer

Babar Azam’s father has urged the Pakistan Cricket Board to immediately arrange for the treatment of injured cricketer Bisma Amjad. Taking to Instagram, Azaeem Siddique expressed his concerns about the cricketer. The PCB can pay the Babar’s India match fee if other arrangements cannot be made for the treatment of injured woman cricketers, Siddique said.

West Indies women’s team arrives in Pakistan for ODI series

The West Indies women’s cricket team arrived in Pakistan for a three-match ODI series against Pakistan. The team arrived at Jinnah International Airport on Monday. They will stay in quarantine for three days before training at National Stadium begins on November 4. The matches will take place at Karachi’s National Stadium on 8, 11, and 14 November.

PFF seeks dialogue with FIFA months after suspension from global body

Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah, president of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), said on Saturday that they were open to discussions with FIFA regarding their issues. The PFF was suspended by FIFA in April after Shah, a group of officials elected by the Pakistani Supreme Court for the PFF but not recognized by FIFA, took over the Pakistan football headquarters from the FIFA normalization committee.

Captain Babar Azam on Friday broke Virat Kohli’s record as the first skipper to complete 1000 runs in a T20I in the quickest time. The right-handed batsman performed this feat in Pakistan’s match against Afghanistan in the ICC T20 World Cup. He reached a historic milestone in 26 innings against Virat’s 30 innings.
