PFF seeks dialogue with FIFA months after suspension from global body

Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah, president of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), said on Saturday that they were open to discussions with FIFA regarding their issues. The PFF was suspended by FIFA in April after Shah, a group of officials elected by the Pakistani Supreme Court for the PFF but not recognized by FIFA, took over the Pakistan football headquarters from the FIFA normalization committee.

During Shah’s remarks, he mentioned that the NC had not conducted elections for its body in the 18 months since it took office. The PFF suspension was prompted by the “hostile takeover,” which was a serious violation of FIFA’s statutes.
