ISPR confirms martyrdom of all aboard missing army helicopter

The wreckage of the ill-fated Army Aviation helicopter, which went missing a day earlier, has been found. ISPR has confirmed that all six passengers onboard have embraced martyrdom in the crash. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the wreckage was found in the Musa Goth area of Windar in Lasbela district. The unfortunate accident occurred due to bad weather as per initial investigations.

In unanimous verdict, Election Commission says ex-PM Khan’s PTI received ‘prohibited’ funds

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) said on Tuesday the PTI had received “prohibited funds” as it announced a unanimous verdict in a years-long investigation into the funding sources of the entity. In its 70-page verdict, the ECP listed all individuals and entities, including the disgraced business tycoon Arif Naqvi, who sent the prohibited funds, saying Khan’s party “knowingly and willfully received these donations.”

According to details, Daulat Nagar Police had arrested three suspects, including a woman, for illegal possession of arms and drug peddling. US vlogger gang raped in Pakistan disables social media after trauma

A vlogger and social media activist from the United States, Arabela Urpi, 21, stated that she was raped by Muzmal Sipra and Shehzad of Rajanpur on the night of July 17 in a hotel room. The Border Military Police (BMP) has registered a rape case on the complaint of the vlogger. The complainant also said she had received threats from Sipra to not pursue legal proceedings.

A Pakistani-American photographer was gunned down by her husband in Chicago after he travelled to the state from his house in Georgia and later shot himself dead. Pakistani passport remains fourth-worst in the world: Henley index

The Pakistani passport continues to be the fourth-worst in the world, not changing its position from a year ago and providing access to only 32 destinations. According to the Henley Passport Index for 2022, Pakistan is ranked only higher than conflict-ravaged Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan, which occupies the bottom spot. The top spot has been taken by Japan, with the country’s passport providing its holders access to 193 destinations.
