KP govt outlaws domestic employment of children under 14

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has banned forced labor and domestic employment of children under 14 years of age. In response to domestic worker concerns, the KP Assembly passed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Home Based Workers Bill, 2021. Moreover, the law requires employers to provide structured appointment letters to domestic workers providing salary and other details about work.

Alter’s Co-founder Zain Naqvi said, “This is a life-changing moment for all the creators.” It was posted by Muhammad Asif Ali Rana from Gujranwala. The crossed images of Mudasir posted on the bottom of the original post received 10,000 shares.
