Islamabad Police registers case over ‘obscene’ photos in front of Quaid-e-Azam’s portrait

The police have registered a case in Islamabad regarding an ‘obscene’ photo shoot in front of Quaid-e-Azam’s portrait. A complaint of obscene acts in public has been filed by Police under Section 294 of the Pakistan Penal Code. Moreover, the complainant said that photos of a boy and girl at the Coral Chowk showed utter disrespect for Quaid-e-Azam.

Furthermore, the case has been registered on the complaint of a citizen named Rashid Malik. Further investigations are now underway to find the couple responsible for the photoshoot that caused a national outcry. The DC Islamabad has also been tagged by senior journalist Ansar Abbasi who calls for the couple’s arrest for spreading obscenities. Following this, DC Islamabad urged people to provide any information about the duo to authorities.
