Islamabad Police introduces a comprehensive self-defense course for females

To prevent gender-based violence, the Islamabad Police is offering an extensive self-defense course for females. Women undergo physical training, armed training, and assault course to make them capable of self-defense in threatening situations. The course lasts one month from 4 October to 4 November, costing Rs. 30,000. Female instructors will impart the majority of the training, and male instructors may interject wherever needed.

KP Govt to recheck exam papers after student secures full marks

The KP government has decided to recheck exam papers of a brilliant female student who got 100 percent marks in her BISE exams. Shahram Khan Tarakai, provincial minister of elementary and secondary education, took notice of the unusual development on Wednesday and arranged for an assessment committee to recheck copies of Qandeel’s and other students’ grades.

Coca Cola and CDA to build Pakistan’s first plastic road in Islamabad to promote a “World without Plastic”

Coca-Cola Pakistan, TeamUp, and the National Incubation Center (NIC) have teamed up with the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to retile national roads with plastic waste. A memorandum of understanding was signed on Tuesday, formalizing a joint venture aimed at creating a “world without Plastic”. The first phase is to model a one-kilometer road in the capital.
