Pakistan wins gold medal at UAE World stamp Exhibition

Pakistan has won a gold medal at the Dubai Expo 2020 World Stamp Exhibition. A prominent Pakistani businessman and philatelist, M Arif Balgamwala presented a wide range to visitors that was greatly appreciated. He displayed 170 collections from 27 countries. An award was presented for the ticket collection of Pakistani businessman and philatelist Arif Balgamwala.

Seventy endangered falcons die in customs custody

Several endangered falcons seized by customs officials last year have reportedly died in custody. According to sources with the Customs Department, the falcons died four months ago, and their bodies have been kept in a refrigerator as judicial property. Officials from Karachi’s DHA and Gizri claimed to have foiled a smuggling attempt last year after securing 75 falcons and a Houbara bustard.

Despite pleading innocent, Sufyan Naqvi claims to work as a project coordinator for a Maldives-based company. 

Turkey to initiate 50 development projects in Pakistan

A state-run Turkish agency will launch almost 50 new development projects in Pakistan in 2022 to assist with the development of education, health, and agriculture in the country. The announcement was made by Muhsin Balci, the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency’s (TIKA) Pakistan program coordinator. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, many Central Asian countries declared independence.

Investigator says Zahir Jaffer’s fingerprints are not found on weapon recovered from crime scene

An investigation officer told the court on Monday that Zahir Jaffer’s fingerprints were not found on the knife used in the murder of Noor Mukadam. During the hearing, Investigation Officer (IO) informed the court that Zahir was also investigated as Noor’s body was discovered at his home. Under cross-examination by the defendant’s lawyer, he claimed no eyewitnesses appeared before police, apart from the forensic report.
