The Pakistan Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai showcased a part of the world’s largest Holy Quran on Monday. Pakistani-Canadian artist Shahid Rassam displayed Surah-e-Rahman cast on a canvas with aluminum and gold-plated script. It was the first time that such a type of work has been displayed in over 1,400 years.

It will be the largest exhibition of the Holy Quran in the world, as well as the most unique. This artifact is innovative and unique in many ways. “Its words are not written in ink or color; instead, they are cast,” Rassam told the media.
