Pakistan to assist Saudi Arabia plant 10 bn trees to tackle climate change

Pakistan will provide technical assistance to the Saudi government to plant 10 billion trees. An MoU has been signed between two countries to plant 10 billion trees across the kingdom, says the state broadcaster. Saudi Arabia has launched an ambitious program to plant billions of trees in an effort to combat climate change.

Malik Amin Aslam, the aide to the prime minister on climate change, announced on Tuesday that green diplomacy between the two countries had been launched.
