Locals accidentally discover historical treasures in Tarbela Ghazi

During the expansion of a cemetery in Tarbela Ghazi, Khaloo village residents discovered sculptures of historical significance. ASP explained the discovery and said local, the chairman of the Hasaas group, approached her and brought her the treasures. The archaeology department at the institution is ensuring excavation and protection of the discovery due to its unique nature.

PTA slaps jazz with RS 30 Mn fine over poor network quality

PTA imposed a heavy fine of Rs30 million on Jazz for poor service in seven cities across Pakistan. Chairman PTA issued the ruling, stating that Jazz failed to meet the Quality of Services Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in the seven cities. According to a QoS survey conducted by the telecommunication authority during December 2020, Jazz provided low-quality services to its customers.

4-year-old girl from Hunza wins silver medal in skating

A 4-year-old girl named Mahnoor from the Nagar district in Gilgit-Baltistan has won a silver medal for skating. Winter sports competitions were held near Nagar from 17th to 23rd January in Hunza Valley. The event featured many athletes who won gold and silver medals. Mahnoor, 4, from Hooper Valley in Nagar district, stunned the world by winning a silver medal in ice speed skating.
