PM Imran Khan offers live debate with India’s Modi to resolve differences

Prime Minister Imran Khan has offered to have a televised debate with his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi, to resolve differences between the two neighbours. “I would love to debate with Narendra Modi on TV,” PM Imran told Russia Today in an interview, adding that it would be beneficial for the billion people in the subcontinent if differences could be resolved through debate.

Communications Minister Murad Saeed at a press conference has vowed to take legal action against Imran Khan’s ex-wife Reham Khan for “disgracing him and the PM” in her book launched in July 2018. Ms Reham, who married Imran Khan in 2015, had made serious allegations against Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sexual orientation is homosexual, suggesting he had relationships with Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) members.

Journalist Mohsin Baig claims PM Khan ordered FIA to torture him

Journalist Mohsin Baig who was detained in a raid has claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan ordered Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to torture him. Baig is currently in police custody and was held for making ‘derogatory and demeaning’ remarks on a news channel last week about the premier and Minister of Communications Murad Saeed.

Rashid had reportedly offensively criticized the decline of the country’s hockey on a social media platform. The expenditures of the Prime Minister’s House and Prime Minister’s Office have significantly been cut, according to an official data. “Rs218 million were allocated in the last fiscal year to meet the operating expenses, however, only Rs46 million were used.”
