US blacklists tech firms in Pakistan & other countries over nuclear trade

US government has blacklisted 28 tech firms in Pakistan, China, Russia, and Japan. These companies are alleged to have been involved in the development and distribution of military and nuclear projects. The move has targeted 13 corporations in Pakistan and 12 enterprises in China. The companies are making it difficult for US companies to sell technology to listed companies.

According to the source, semiconductor and aerospace companies, as well as companies in the quantum computing field, were sanctioned. Sanctions’ purpose is to discourage companies, suppliers, and customers from doing business with blacklisted tech firms. These businesses cannot operate at full capacity because they are unable to access technical talent, money, and raw materials.
