PIA became the first international air passenger carrier to fly regularly to Fujairah in the UAE on Thursday. The flight left Peshawar earlier in the day and transported 168 passengers to their destination in the afternoon. At the special request of the ruler of Fujairah, PIA decided to launch regular flights to the emirate.

According to the statement, the royal family of Fujairah and other high-ranking officials welcomed the PIA flight and its CEO Air Marshal Arshad Malik. A traditional dance was also performed at the airport.
