A district-and-sessional court indicted 12 people, including Zahir Jaffer, for the murder of Noor Mukadam, the daughter of a diplomat. Besides Zahir, all the people involved in the case have been indicted, including Zahir’s parents Zakir Jaffer and Asmat Adamjee. Additionally, Zahir’s employees Muhammad Iftikhar, Jameel Ahmed, Muhammad Jan, as well as six employees of Therapy Works, including its CEO Tahir Zahoor, were charged.

The 8-year-old gymnast Jasim Mehsud from northwest Pakistan has set a new Guinness World Record of the most kip-ups in 30 secs. The youngster completed 27 kip-ups within the allotted time. A child athlete smashed the record previously held by a Swedish athlete. He is the student of Pakistan’s 43-time Guinness World Record holder Irfan Mehsud.
Pakistan won top three places at the 53rd World Military Championship held on Monday at the Lahore Garrison Shooting Gallery. Leading Marine Asif Mehmood of Pakistan won the Gold Medal, followed by Petty Officer Waheed Alam of Pakistan who won the Silver Medal in the Skeet Shooting (Men) category. The Minar-e-Pakistan harassment case has seen another major development with an alleged audio clip emerging during the probe that exposes Ayesha Akram’s extortion plan and that of her partner Rambo. Fakeero Solanki, a very talented artist from Sindh, created the fiberglass sculpture of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The towering statue of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah stands 17 ft high and 4 ft wide. It is located in Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, Abbottabad. He also created a 20-foot statue of the Quaid for Ziarat apart from the two aforementioned statues.

The Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul Road Transport Corridor has become operational, and the first consignment of commercial cargo was delivered in Turkey on October 7. The cargo trucks had left Karachi last month on September 27 for Istanbul and finished the 5,300-km trip on October 7. To celebrate the operational launch of the corridor project between the two nations, the Turkish Trade Ministry hosted a welcome ceremony.

The Indian navy officer Kulbhushan was sentenced to death for spying on a military court. The IHC chief justice said in a written order on Saturday that if India has any reservations about the case proceedings, it should submit them to the court.
