The Soho tribe has made history by appointing the first female tribal chief in Sindh. PPP MPA, Heer Ismail Soho, called it a “huge honour” and said she had the backing of her family and community members in running the affairs of the clan. The Soho tribe is spread across Sindh but dominates the Mirpur Bathoro area of the Sujawal coastal district.

Three men attacked and injured Mansehra Assistant Commissioner Marvi Malik Sher, later telling police that they did so because they did not want a female civil servant in the area. A father-daughter duo of Peshawar have made history by obtaining PhD degree together on the same day from the Peshawar Engineering University. Dr. Masood Khan, the Assistant Professor at the University of Peshawar’s Engineering Department achieved PhD degree in Mechatronics, while his daughter, Dr. Nadia Masood, was awarded a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering.
Seven years old genius, Ayesha Fatima, has become the youngest person in the world to complete the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. Ayesha beat the record of an Indian girl who had achieved the feat at the age of 11. CCNA certification consists of six sections. It includes network fundamentals, network access, IP connectivity, IP services, security fundamentals, and automation and programmability.
Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has announced that the government was lifting all Covid-19 related restrictions across the country. Umar said that Pakistan “has come close to eliminating the pandemic, hence, all restrictions related to the coronavirus on weddings, indoor dining and markets, are ending.” He added, however, that all restrictions on those not vaccinated against the coronavirus would remain.
