A woman filed a petition in a Lahore civil court on Wednesday to stop the final episode of Meray Pass Tum Ho from airing. The show has repeatedly passed derogatory comments about women and has disrespected their status, said the woman, identified as Maham Chaudhry. She stated that this is an attempt to show omen as weak and less important in society and this does not benefit Pakistani women at all.
Censor boards in Sindh and Punjab have decided against the release of Sarmad Khoosat’s Zindagi Tamasha across the country. A statement issued by the Sindh Board of Censors claimed that if the film was released it would cause “unrest” within some segments of society and “may deteriorate and be detrimental to the peaceful circumstances in the country”.

He further added that he himself is a great fan of the band and if it’s anyone’s fault, it’s the production house – named Aardman Animations – that made the video, unless it was Coldplay’s own idea.
