Nisar Nasik, lyricist of Dil Dil Pakistan passes away

Nisar Nasik, the lyricist of the national song Dil Dil Pakistan, sung by Junaid Jamshed, passed away on Wednesday morning in Rawalpindi after suffering from mild blindness and amnesia. He remained associated with Radio Pakistan throughout his life and also wrote songs for Pakistan Television (PTV). PTV awarded him the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to literature.

Saudi Arabia’s first mixed men and women night club, termed as #JeddahDisco, was closed on its opening event as authorities claimed the venue had not received necessary license to operate. The latest ad campaign from Ikea in the UAE called the “Ikea Real Life” recreates some iconic TV living rooms. The campaign took two months to bring together, with furniture pieces enhanced by 3D digital software. The Ikea team worked closely with the creatives for months to create famous living rooms of The Simpsons, Friends and Stranger Things.

Boney Kapoor, the late sri devi’s husband, has confirmed that he’s planning a Mr India reboot. HBO’s new show Chernobyl has become the highest rated show in history of IMDB with an average rating of 9.7 (66,000 votes). The show, produced with Sky in the UK, is a harrowing and gripping account of the Chernobyl disaster in Ukraine, and will only be a five episodes mini-series depicting a catastrophic April 1986 explosion at a Soviet nuclear power plant.
