Nisar Nasik, the lyricist of the national song Dil Dil Pakistan, sung by Junaid Jamshed, passed away on Wednesday morning in Rawalpindi after suffering from mild blindness and amnesia. He remained associated with Radio Pakistan throughout his life and also wrote songs for Pakistan Television (PTV). PTV awarded him the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to literature.

Boney Kapoor, the late sri devi’s husband, has confirmed that he’s planning a Mr India reboot. The film-maker has expressed that after the death of wife and superstar Sridevi last year, he has more reason to remake the 1987 cult classic. HBO’s new show Chernobyl has become the highest rated show in history of IMDB with an average rating of 9.7 (66,000 votes). The show, produced with Sky in the UK, is a harrowing and gripping account of the Chernobyl disaster in Ukraine, and will only be a five episodes mini-series depicting a catastrophic April 1986 explosion at a Soviet nuclear power plant.
