‘Inshallah’, an Arabic word can also be considered a German word now as it has been recognised as an official word by Germany’s most authentic dictionary, Duden. It is spelled as “inschallah” in the dictionary and currently appears in its digital version. ‘Inhsallah’, meaning ‘if Allah wills’ is popularly used by Muslims throughout the world when speaking of a future event.
Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry slapped anchorperson Mubashir Luqman during the wedding ceremony of Punjab Irrigation Minister Mohisn Laghari’s son in Lahore. A heated exchange took place between Chaudhry and Luqman during a conversation which led to the minister slapping the anchorperson, according to the sources. However, PTI leaders at the ceremony intervened and took them aside.
Two Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilots have been martyred after their plane crashed near Mianwali, according to a spokesperson of the air force. The pilots have been identified as Squadron Leader Haris Bin Khalid and Flying Officer Ibaadur Rehman. The plane, FT-7, was on a routine operational training mission when the crash occurred. A board of inquiry has been ordered by the Air Headquarters to determine the cause of the accident.

Jazz has launched the 5G network for its customers in Pakistan, making it one of the very few countries in the world where 5G is available to the customers. The availability of the 5G network from Jazz is on trial basis and for limited areas in Islamabad only, including F-8, G-7,E-7 and Blue Area as the operator is allowed to test its 5G readiness and user-experience for a period of six months, which is extendable.

Mountain climber Muhammad Ali Sadpara hailing from Skardu city becomes the first Pakistani ever to summit the 4,808m Mont Blanc. The 43-year-old holds various climbing records and has remarkable achievements in the recent past. Sadpara started his career as a porter and later fulfilled his potential of becoming a historical climber. He previously climbed eight peaks, of which three were in Pakistan while the rest were located in Nepal.

The military adviser to Iran’s supreme leader said the Islamic republic’s response to a US strike that killed one of the country’s top commanders will be military. After a US drone strike in Baghdad that killed Qasem Soleimani, supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei vowed “severe revenge”.
