A Turkish actor, Engin Altan, filed a complaint against TikToker Kashif Zameer, who was then arrested on fraud charges. The FIR was registered in Lahore at the Racecourse police station. Engin Altan was invited by Kashif for a shoot for Chaudhary Group of Companies, but no payment was made. In response to Engin’s compensation demands, Kashif terminated the contract.

Inam Ghani, Punjab’s inspector general, ordered immediate action in response to a letter from the Turkish Embassy. TikToker Kashif Zameer posed as a government official during a CIA police raid in Iqbal Town. Reports soon spread that Kashif had been involved in several crimes, eight of which had been filed against him.
