Pakistan’s renowned martial artist records 60th Guinness World Record

Pakistan’s renowned martial artist Irfan Mehsood has achieved another milestone after his 60th Guinness World Record was approved for the highest standing jump carrying a 60lb pack. The previous record for the highest standing jump was held by Silvio Sabba of Italy. Irfan said the highest standing jump he did carrying a 60 Ib pack was 96 cm (3 ft 1.79 in).

Irfan has previously also broken many other records including the most push-ups (fingertips, carrying a 60 lb pack) in one minute, most step-ups in one minute (carrying a 100 lb pack), and the longest time in a reverse abdominal plank position carrying a 100 lb pack.

Mehsood who was overjoyed over his remarkable feat said he was also the only athlete to break world records using 80 to 100 Pounds of weight.

National cricket team’s fast bowler Naseem Shah has achieved the world record for the most wickets in the initial six one day matches. Naseem Shah has taken 20 wickets in his first 6 One Day International (ODI) matches of his career. In the first ODI against New Zealand in Rawalpindi, the Pakistani fast bowler took 2 wickets, breaking the record of New Zealand’s Matt Henry.

Enaam Ahmed, a British-Pakistani Formula racer, set the third-fastest time during the morning session on the 2.4-mile road course at the prestigious Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The road course comprises 14 corners and is renowned for hosting some of the world’s most talented racing drivers. Enaam was racing against several experienced drivers in the series which made his third fastest time of 1:14.86 even more impressive.
