One of Pakistan’s youngest entrepreneur, Abdul Hadi Jaliawala, is transforming Karachi’s industry at the age of 23

Meet Abdul Hadi Jaliawala, a young entrepreneur from Karachi, who is leading the change in garment industry of Pakistan. Jaliawala is amongst very few who are making big in industrial sector of our country at the age of 23 only. Within three years, Abdul Hadi has let Ghausia embroidery to heights of success, making it the secret behind every top clothing brand in Pakistan including Bonanza Satrangi, Alkaram, Gul Ahmed and J. among others.

He comes from a humble business background. His grandfather, late Haji Haroon Jaliawala was amongst the very few who contributed into the textile sector of Pakistan after the independence. Haroon Textile Mill, was the second largest textile mill of Pakistan from early 60’s – till late 80’s.

Abdul Hadi Jaliawala, with his refreshing energy, has contributed to the economy of Pakistan by setting up a massive embroidery plant in Karachi and in way created many employment opportunities. Ghausia Embroidery has affiliations with KCCI (Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industries), KATI (Korangi Association of Trade & Industries), and PBA (Pakistan Businessmen Association).

Foundations of Ghausia Embroidery were laid in April 2017 with only two machines. With in no time the company expanded its operations and as of today it is 50 times bigger than what it used to be. With a fleet of 21 latest model machines, Ghausia embroidery gives its clients the best quality product.

In future, Abdul Hadi & Ghausia Embrodery aim to open doors to international brands in order to contribute to the export sector of Pakistan, with specific eyes on the markets of Africa and North America.
