FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi seeks FATF action against India for sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has urged the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) to take action against India for sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan.  The Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) was determined to be responsible for Lahore’s Johar Town blast after an investigation. He said that evidence of Indian state-sponsored terrorism, unveiled by Islamabad last year, has been cleared.

According to the minister, FATF is not a technical forum if it does not mention India’s financing of terrorism. Further evidence regarding Indian training, weapons supply, and terror financing have been presented to the world, he added. Additionally, Pakistan sent its evidence dossier to UN representatives, ambassadors from P-5 countries, the diplomatic community, and international media.
