A father-daughter duo of Peshawar have made history by obtaining PhD degree together on the same day from the Peshawar Engineering University. Dr. Masood Khan, the Assistant Professor at the University of Peshawar’s Engineering Department achieved PhD degree in Mechatronics, while his daughter, Dr. Nadia Masood, was awarded a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering.

Seven-year-old Pakistani becomes youngest in world to complete CCNA certification

Seven years old genius, Ayesha Fatima, has become the youngest person in the world to complete the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. Ayesha beat the record of an Indian girl who had achieved the feat at the age of 11. CCNA certification consists of six sections. It includes network fundamentals, network access, IP connectivity, IP services, security fundamentals, and automation and programmability.

Pakistan lifts all Covid-19 related restrictions across the country

Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has announced that the government was lifting all Covid-19 related restrictions across the country. Umar said that Pakistan “has come close to eliminating the pandemic, hence, all restrictions related to the coronavirus on weddings, indoor dining and markets, are ending.” He added, however, that all restrictions on those not vaccinated against the coronavirus would remain.

India ‘accidently’ fired supersonic missile into Pakistan

India said on Friday it had ‘accidentally’ fired a missile into Pakistan this week because of a “technical malfunction” during routine maintenance, giving its version of events after Pakistan summoned India’s envoy to protest. It was possibly a BrahMos missile — a nuclear-capable, land-attack cruise missile jointly developed by Russia and India. The missile was unarmed and had crashed near the city of Mian Channu.

Father accused of killing his week-old daughter arrested by Police
