Bangladesh’s GDP reached $2,227 per capita in the financial year 2020-21, ranking 35th in the world. Reports suggest that India has a per capita income of $1,947. This is $280 less than that of Bangladesh.

Furthermore, Pakistan has a per capita income of $1,186, which is $1,041 less than Bangladesh. Bangladesh’s Planning Minister MA Mannan shares the new data during a meeting of the virtual cabinet led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. According to the previous fiscal year’s income data, Bangladesh’s per capita income was $2,064; it was half that of India.
