The Peshawar High Court was informed that TikTok blocked 8 million objectionable videos and approximately 400,000 accounts in the country. Moreover, TikTok had increased the team of moderators from 116 to 476 in Pakistan. However, moderators will monitor the content that contains any objectionable action or any incident material on TikTok.

Observing that the Peshawar High Court is not seeking to ban TikTok in Pakistan. It only seeks to implement a mechanism to stop the upload of indecent material. In response to a joint petition filed by 40 citizens of Peshawar, the court demanded that the Federal Investigative Agency and PTA limit TikTok’s activities so they do not offend the Islamic belief system.
