Three Pakistani entrepreneurs have made the nation proud by winning the Shell LiveWIRE Top 10 Innovators Awards in three different categories. The global competition rewards businesses that demonstrate excellence in innovation and gives entrepreneurs a chance to shine on a global platform. The winners from Pakistan include AquaAgro, EDVON Robotics Pakistan and Enent.
Aqua Agro took home the gold and $20,000 in the Environment & Circular Economy category, with their artificial intelligence technology helping farmers to enhance their productivity and save water.
EDVON won the Outstanding Achievement Award Winner and will take home $10,000 for their development of virtual STEAM curricula and DIY robotics kits for K-12 students, along with their Corona-fighting robot that improves sanitation and compliance in healthcare settings.
Enent won the runner-up prize at the competition, securing $10,000 in prize money. This startup is a clean-tech electronics company that focuses on designing innovative products that will help Pakistan reduce energy wastage by 20%.
