Pakistani fighter Asim Khan wins silver at the Asian Pacific MMA Championship 2022

Pakistan’s Asim Khan on Sunday won the silver medal in Asian Pacific MMA Championship 2022, held in Pattaya, Thailand. He won the medal in 57kg category. On the other hand, Pakistan Shahzaib khan got bronze medal in 77 kg. This is one of the biggest MMA Championship in Asia. Asim Khan defeated the Thailand fighter in the semi-final. 

Pakistani youngsters shine bright with two silvers and two bronze at Asian Mas-Wrestling Championship, Uzbekistan

Pakistani wrestlers fought well at the Asian Mas-Wrestling Championship to bag two silver and two bronze medals for the country. Held under the auspices of International Mas-Wrestling Federation w.e.f 3-7 November, 2022 at Almalyk, Uzbekistan, 7 Asian Countries participated and Pakistan was represented by 20 athletes. Pakistan’s Talal Anser, Muhammad Asim, Azher Ali and Shanza Riasat won in their respective categories.

Naseebullah khan has made the nation proud by winning gold medal at the Kyrgyzstan Open 2022. Naseeb won gold by defeating his opponent from Kyrgyzstan and won first position. Currently, a student of FSc, Naseeb has trained hard to achieve this feat. He is trained in SK kickboxing, Sanda and MMA international academy.

The one-sided competition saw Mahnoor winning three straight sets by 11-4, 11-1, and 11-3.

The inflation has now broken a 47-year-old record after Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) data highlighted inflation at 27.3 percent on year-on-year basis in August 2022. Miftah Ismail, however, defended his policies.
