Pakistani wrestlers fought well at the Asian Mas-Wrestling Championship to bag two silver and two bronze medals for the country. Held under the auspices of International Mas-Wrestling Federation w.e.f 3-7 November, 2022 at Almalyk, Uzbekistan, 7 Asian Countries participated and Pakistan was represented by 20 athletes. Pakistan’s Talal Anser, Muhammad Asim, Azher Ali and Shanza Riasat won in their respective categories.

Talal Anser from Gujranwala displayed brilliance as he bagged a silver medal in 70 kg category in Junior Asian Mas-Wrestling Championship.
In Asian Mas wrestling Championship, Muhammad Asim from Sargodha (70 Kg) took Silver Medal, Azhar Ali from Gujranwala (65 Kg) took Bronze Medal and Shanza Riasat from Daska (65 Kg) took Bronze Medal. Shanza is also serving as an athlete in Pakistan Army.
