Zong has successfully carried out the first-ever 5G video call experiment in Pakistan. Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Amin-ul-Haque, using Zong 4G network, made a 5G video call to Beijing and enjoyed the excellent voice and video quality, a unique feature of 5G. The inauguration ceremony of the experimental 5G video call was held at Zong Headquarter Islamabad.
Hassan Ahmad, Pakistan’s first deaf vlogger, who has been working tirelessly to connect the deaf community with the rest of the world, will now be hosting his own TV show. Co-hosted by his sister, the program Ishaaron ki Zuban will be aired on the channel Kay2, every Saturday at 6 pm. The program will be in sign language with a voice over by his sister.

The government has decided to auction various items available in the Toshakhana of the Cabinet Division. These items range from a L.U. Chopard watch worth Rs17.5 million to a Rolex watch of Rs3.5 million. The items will be available for the officers of the federal government and armed forces to bid on when the auction starts on November 4, according to a Cabinet Division notification.
Latest travel advisory issued for those traveling to Dubai from Pakistan has rejected PCR test reports from Chughtai Lab and Islamabad Diagnostic Center. According to details, only reports of laboratories in Pakistan who have registered with the Dubai officials will be acceptable at the Dubai airport. Chughtai laboratory and IDC are not registered with Dubai authorities, therefore their reports will not be accepted.
Around 40 per cent of Pakistani students enrolled in the University of London’s (UoL) external LLB online programme have been marked failed in their exams. The glitch occurred due to confusions surrounding the online examinations schedule. Results of several students have also been withheld for their assessment offence investigation. The university admits that there had been some unavoidable disruptions this year because of the pandemic.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a date for war with Pakistan and China, according to a senior official of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The Pakistan Tehreek –e-Insaaf (PTI) led federal government has decided to launch the country’s first over-the-top (OTT) TV, the local version of Netflix. Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain revealed in a Tweet that the technology part is complete and have asked Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) to prepare a guideline on content.
