A resident of Sialkot has been labelled ‘talented’ by one of his three wives, as he manages to keep them all happy. 22 year old Adnan, is married to three women and they all live together in the same house. Even so, the wives are now looking for a fourth bride for their husband. Adnan says he spends around 1.5 lacs each month on his family.
Pakistan-born, Saudi Arabia-based motorcyclist Muhammad Usman Ghani, 27, feels proud to represent his country as the first Pakistani to hold a Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) racing license. Customised in green and white, Ghani’s motorcycle represents colors of the Pakistani flag. Since receiving his FIM license in 2017, Ghani has achieved a number of successes in motorcycling in last three years.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the country is facing great pressure from the United States to recognise Israel, especially in the wake of peace deals between several Arab states and Tel Aviv. The PM however, said that this will not be possible “unless there is a just settlement, which satisfies Palestine”. Mr Khan made these remarks “last week” talking to “local media”.
The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa cabinet has ordered the expulsion of a transgender dancer, Chahat, from district Kohat for being a ‘threat to law and order’. The orders were issued after Chahat was termed responsible for death of five persons during a wedding function. Reportedly, two parties wanted Chahat’s attention, but one of the parties became enraged seeing Chahat spend too much time with the other.
The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has recommended closing down cinemas, theaters and shrines across the country as coronavirus cases continue to rise. The NCOC also suggested early and extended winter vacations in schools and colleges to reduce the disease spread and ensure the safety of students. For restaurants, only take-away and outdoor dining to be allowed till 10 pm.

For a year and a half, the two friends, Tomichan Puthuparambil Thomas, 63, from Kerala and Mohammed Asad, 36, from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, have been sharing a tiny room with a bunk bed.

Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Amin-ul-Haque, using Zong 4G network, made a 5G video call to Beijing and enjoyed the excellent voice and video quality, a unique feature of 5G. Hassan Ahmad, Pakistan’s first deaf vlogger, who has been working tirelessly to connect the deaf community with the rest of the world, will now be hosting his own TV show. Co-hosted by his sister, the program Ishaaron ki Zuban will be aired on the channel Kay2, every Saturday at 6 pm. The program will be in sign language with a voice over by his sister.
Renowned Turkish chef and social media sensation Burak Ozdemir has stated that “the tea is fantastic in Pakistan”, taking an obvious dig at Indian pilot Abhinandan Varthaman. The phrase became famous due to an interrogation video of the Indian wing commander, who was captured and then released shortly after his plane was shot down in Pakistani airspace in 2019.
