Seven Pakistani ophthalmologists to serve in OIC mission in Niger

A senior OIC official announced that Pakistani ophthalmologists have been sent to Niger as part of an OIC mission on health and higher education for Africa. A committee of the OIC was established in 1981 during the Islamic Summit in Makkah. The organization’s primary objective is to enhance the technological and scientific capabilities of member states of the OIC.
