The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) will introduce a Star-Based Rating System for eateries throughout the province. This will enable citizens to make informed choices about cafes, hotels, and restaurants based on reviews. According to Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, the move will bring Pakistan’s food industry up to international standards.

PFA will launch a web-based portal and a mobile application through which all cafes, hotels, and restaurants can register. PFA will rate the eateries based on their food quality, taste, and hygiene.
