PM Boris Johnson honours four Pakistanis for their humanitarian efforts

The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson honours four Pakistanis for their humanitarian efforts. He granted the rewards to a campaign, ‘Points of Light Award’, founded by four Pakistanis. They were providing exceptional service to the NHS, homeless people in the UK. In 2020, a group of Pakistani people started a campaign known as “One Million Meals”. This campaign managed over 100,000 meals for people in need in the UK during the lockdown. Moreover, famous sportsmen Amir Khan and David Beckham endorsed the campaign. Therefore, that inspired lots of volunteers and local companies to donate food and healthy drinks.

During the Pandemic, Raja Suleman Raza, who is CEO of a restaurant chain that donated ‘One Million Meals,’ said receiving the Points of Light Award from Prime Minister Khan is an honor.
