Pakistani man Muhammad Ahmar crosses border to meet lover in Mumbai

A Pakistani man named Muhammad Ahmar from Bahawalpur fell in love with an Indian girl from Mumbai on social media and reached India. The young man arrived in India at the invitation of the girl. He claimed that he was forced to take illegal action after his visa application was rejected. According to the Indian official, Ahmar was unaware that Rajasthan and Mumbai were 1,400 km apart.

Muhammad Ahmar was arrested in the Indian state of Rajasthan in the district of Sri Ganganagar. The investigators discovered the girl to be a college student and then discovered that the love claim was false. She said that she was not serious and she just jokingly invited him to Mumbai.
