Pakistan’s junior hockey team reached India on Saturday in anticipation of the Junior Hockey World Cup. The tournament will be held from November 24 to December 5 in Bhubaneswar. The team members were received by a senior diplomat of the High Commission upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Aftab Hasan Khan, Pakistan’s High Commission In-Charge, welcomed the hockey team.

This visit to India by the Pakistan hockey team comes just a few days after Pakistan reopened the Kartarpur Sahib corridor. The High Commission in-charge organized a lunch in honor of the hockey team and extended their best wishes.
