Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal has revealed that Pakistan has formally approached the Indian government with an offer to grant consular access to Kulbhushan Jadhav. The Indian spy was sentenced by Pakistan on charges of esionage and terrorism but after the decision made by International Court of Justice (ICJ) last month, Jadhav is now being granted consular access.

Jadhav — a serving commander of the Indian Navy associated with Indian spy agency Research and Analysis Wing — was arrested on March 3, 2016, from Balochistan on allegations of espionage and terrorism.
