The ICC T20 world cup 2021 will be hosted by the UAE starting on October 17 and will conclude on November 14. Sixteen teams will compete in the tournament after the IPL 2021 championship, which will be held on October 15. Apparently, BCCI still owns the hosting rights to the T20 World Cup.

In the first round of the ICC T20 world cup 2021, 12 matches will be played between the eight participating teams. In addition to these eight teams, four teams will advance to the Super 12. Moreover, the Super 12-leg will be played at three major venues – Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.
