IBA reinstates student expelled for exposing harassment case

The final year student Muhammad Gibaril, who was expelled from IBA for exposing alleged harassment, has been reinstated after his review petition was heard. The decision to reinstate the expelled student was taken by IBA Executive Director Syed Akbar Zaidi, according to details. In response to the student’s expulsion, several protests and social media uproar erupted among IBA students.

Several people called it a “gross overreaction” and described it as “extremely unfair”. The decision to reinstate the expelled student was taken by IBA Executive Director Syed Akbar Zaidi, according to details. Mr. Jibran Nasir, the Gibrail lawyer, confirmed the student had been reinstated.
