CDA to build first solar-powered metro bus terminal in Islamabad

The CDA has announced plans to build the first solar-powered metro bus terminal in the country. It is scheduled to be completed in three months. CDA spokesperson stated a comprehensive strategy has been formulated to provide modern public transport for citizens of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The work on the metro tracks was already 70 to 80 percent complete, according to him.

Peshawar Mor will eventually be connected to the Islamabad International Airport. This solar-powered plant will generate 100 megawatts of energy. The panels will generate electricity that will be connected to the grid station of the WAPDA.
