The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is ready to introduce a law to limit the weight of school bags carried by children. Under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa School Bags Limitation of Weight Act 2020, school bags of children in nursery class should not weigh more than 1.5kg, and bags carried by children in class one should not weigh more than 2.4kg.

Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan has alleged that Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has millions of fake followers on her Twitter account. Fayyaz revealed that out of 5 million followers of Maryam, 80% are fake. He said that most of the followers never liked any tweet. In his attempt to bring the youth closer to Islam, the premier said that the book had deeply inspired him as it was about divine love.
