Two-time Academy Award winner Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy has launched Pakistan’s first digital platform for minorities. Called the White in the Flag, the platform takes the form of an interactive website which aims to highlight issues surrounding the minorities living in Pakistan. It attempts to create a discourse around their experiences through documenting their history, present and future in various forms stated a press release.

The production team of Turkish historical drama series Ertuğrul will visit Pakistan after Eid, said National Assembly (NA) Speaker Asad Qaiser. On his visit to Turkey to attend a conference in Antalya, Qaiser met with Mehmet Bozdag, the producer of Ertugrul and Kurlus Osman. During the meeting, Pakistan-Turkey’s joint venture for the production of a new drama was agreed.

Three decades later, Pakistan’s iconic pop-rock music duo Strings announced the end of its journey in heartfelt post and fans are utterly heart-broken. On Thursday, March 25th, Bilal took to his official Instagram handle to announce the termination of the band. Designer Ali Xeeshan came under fire this week for his anti-dowry campaign Numaish at the Bridal Couture Week 2021. The project was developed in collaboration with UN Women Pakistan. In response to the backlash, Ali Xeeshan said he doesn’t hold people at gunpoint and force them to buy his Rs1.2 million bridal lehenga.
